Eternal life: the ultimate blessing!

US Life Expectancy: 77.5-80 years
World Life Expectancy: 66.57 years

"Life is short, and then you die," is a popular phrase in American culture. I have heard it in songs, seen it in print, and I have heard it used sarcastically in conversation from time to time.

God wrote:

"Why, you do not even know what will happen tomorrow. What is your life? You are a mist that appears for a little while and then vanishes..." (James 4:14)

"The length of our days is seventy years--or eighty, if we have the strength; yet their span is but trouble and sorrow, for the quickly pass, and we fly away." (Psalms 90:10)

According to the above verses, God already let us know that life is short; nothing lasts forever and ever on this earth.

I have had the opportunity to speak with many people with different spiritual backgrounds, and have found that most Christians say they want to have eternal life. Even people who are not Christian have expressed that they would like to have eternal life--if it were possible.

Christ Ahnsahnghong, Second Coming Christ, has appeared to remind us that we can have eternal life. It is possible and it is true!

John 17:3
"Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent."

God did not say "this is a million dollars" or "this is Lamborghini", rather God is speaking to us about something that is priceless--money cannot buy it and nothing can compare to it. God wants to give us the ultimate blessing of eternal life!

How can we obtain it?

ETERNAL LIFE IS KNOWING TRUE GOD.

If we know True God, we can have eternal life.
Without knowing True God, we cannot have eternal life.
This is life or death.

How can we know God?

Christ Ahnsahnghong showed us the Seal of God.

Jesus Christ spoke:

"Do not word for the food that spoils but for the food that endures to eternal life, which the Son of Man will give you. On him God the Father has placed his seal of approval." (John 6:27)

Jesus Christ has the Seal of God, but how can we receive that seal?

Jesus told us:

"...whoever eats my flesh and drinks my blood remains in me, and I in him." (John 6:56)

If we eat the flesh and blood of Christ we can Christ in us, then we will have the seal. Jesus' flesh and blood is the Seal of God. Only those who have the Seal of God will be protected from the last disasters (Revelation 9:4). This is God's promise.

To eat the flesh and blood of Christ, we must keep the Passover!

Matthew 26:17

On the first day of the Feast of Unleavened Bread, the disciples came to Jesus and asked, "where do you want us to make preparations for you to eat the Passover?" He replied, "Go into the city to a certain man and tell him, 'The Teacher says: My appointed time is near. I am going to celebrate the Passover with my disciples at you house.'" So the disciples did as Jesus had directed them and prepared the Passover.

Matthew 26:26-28

While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gave it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins.

By keeping the Passover we have Christ's flesh and blood in us--the Seal of God.

News of salvation will come from the east.

Christ Ahnsahnghong gave us the good news of salvation; it is through receiving the Seal of God. As God prophesied:

Revelation 7:1-3

After this I saw four angels standing at the four corners of the earth, holding back the four winds of the earth to prevent any wind from blowing on the land or on the sea or on any tree. Then I saw another angel coming up from the east, having the seal of the living God. He called out in a loud voice to the four angels who had been given power to harm the land and the sea: "Do not harm the land or the sea or the trees until we put the seal on the foreheads of the servants our God."

The angel is coming up from the east having God's Seal. No mere man can bring the Seal of God--only God can carry God's Seal. As God prophesied, a disaster is coming that will affect the whole world, but God promised He will appear with the way to be protected. The sign of protection is the Seal of God.

Revelation 9:4

"They were told not to harm the grass of the earth or any plant or tree, but only those people who did not have the seal of God on their foreheads..."

When the catastrophic disaster happens, the Seal of God is the most important sign to have; it is the only way we can be protected.

Neither our riches nor our gold will be able to protect us, only the promise of God, the Seal of God will save us.

Then we have to know, what is the Seal of God? How can we receive the Seal of God?
Christ Ahnsahnghong has revealed the truth to us.

Christ Ahnsahnghong gives us the warning for this day and age.

"First of all, you must understand that in the last days scoffers will come, scoffing and following their own evil desires. They will say, "Where is this 'coming' he promised? Ever since our fathers died, everything goes on as it has since the beginning of creation." But they deliberately forget that long ago by God's word the heavens existed and the earth was formed out of water and by water. By these waters also the world of that time was deluged and destroyed.By the same word the present heavens and earth are reserved for fire, being kept for the day of judgment and destruction of ungodly men." (2 Peter 3:3-7)

The above warning is the Word of God. God warned us that in the last days people will forget about the Word of God. This is what God spoke:

Zephaniah: 1:2-3

"I will sweep away everything
from the face of the earth,"
declares the LORD.

"I will sweep away both men and animals;
I will sweep away the birds of the air
and the fish of the sea.
The wicked will have only heaps of rubble
when I cut off man from the face of the earth,"
declares the LORD.

Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother continue to remind us of the destruction that will effect ALL who live in the earth (Zephaniah 1:18). This is a disaster that no one can escape by themselves, only God can save us. In the time of the Exodus, God gave the warning of disaster, but He also gave His people the sign of protection through the Passover.

Now, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother have come down to this earth to give us good news! Even though destruction is coming, there is a way to be protected!

What is it?

What about God's Warning?

Before disaster happens God always gives His people a warning. In the time of the Exodus, He let the captive Israelites know about the last plague to strike Egypt:

Exodus 12:12
"On that same night I will pass through Egypt and strike down every firstborn—both men and animals—and I will bring judgment on all the gods of Egypt. I am the LORD."

Not only did God warn them about the coming destruction, he also let them know how to be protected.

Exodus 12:11
"...Eat it in haste; it is the Lord's Passover"

Exodus 12:13
"The blood will be a sign for you on the houses where you are; and when I see the blood, I will pass over you. No destructive plague will touch you when I strike Egypt."

The blood of the Passover was the sign that ensured their protection from the last disaster; this was the Word of God. Even though slaughtering a lamb and putting the blood on the sides and tops of the the door frames of their houses may have seemed nonsensical, or against the common thought, those who kept it had the promise of God. They did not receive any death or destruction. As God said, the plague passed over them. After their act of obedience, God freed them from slavery, as God promised.

What about those who did not obey the word of God,
and did not heed the warning from God?

Exodus 12:29-30
"At midnight the LORD struck down all the firstborn in Egypt, from the firstborn of Pharaoh, who sat on the throne, to the firstborn of the prisoner, who was in the dungeon, and the firstborn of all the livestock as well. Pharaoh and all his officials and all the Egyptians got up during the night, and there was loud wailing in Egypt, for there was not a house without someone dead."

For those who did not listen, the result was tragic.

What about nowadays?
Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother are warning us about what will happen soon...

We pay attention to Mother.

2 Peter 1:19-21
And we have the word of the prophets made more certain, and you will do well to pay attention to it, as to a light shining in a dark place, until the day dawns and the morning star rises in your hearts. Above all, you must understand that no prophecy of Scripture came about by the prophet's own interpretation. For prophecy never had its origin in the will of man, but men spoke from God as there were carried along by the Holy Spirit.

Carried along by the Holy Spirit, the prophet Micah wrote a prophecy about our Mother.

Micah 4:1-2
In the last days
the mountain of the LORD's temple will be established
as chief among the mountains;
it will be raised above the hills,
and peoples will stream to it.
Many nations will come and say,
"Come, let us go up to the mountain of the LORD,
to the house of the God of Jacob.
He will teach us his ways,
so that we may walk in his paths."
The law will go out from Zion,
the word of the LORD from Jerusalem.
(Galatians 4:26, Revelation 21:10)

I feel so blessed to be in Zion, and to hear the voice of our
Heavenly Mother Jerusalem!

Heavenly Mother Has Taught Us to Learn From Our Past.

August 1, 1945

Five days before the U.S. bombed Hiroshima one million leaflets were dropped all throughout Japan, giving a warning to the people of what would soon take place:

"Read this carefully as it may save your life or the life of a relative or friend. In the next few days, some or all of the cities named on the reverse side will be destroyed by American bombs...So, in accordance with America's humanitarian policies, the American Air Force, which does not wish to injure innocent people, now gives you warning to evacuate the cites named and save your lives...We cannot promise that only these cities will be among those attacked but some or all of them will be, so heed this warning and evacuate these cities immediatey."

Click below for reference:

Before the disaster struck, what was going on in the minds of the people who decided to stay? Did they think it was a joke? Did they think, "This could never happen to me."? Did they think to themselves..."I'm okay. I'm safe."?

What happened to those that had those thoughts and did not head the warning?
Hiroshima was bombed August 6, 1945.
Nagasaki was bombed August 9, 1945.
What about God's warning?

Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother came to call the sinners.

"...you will be like God, knowing good and evil." (Genesis 3:5)

In the Garden of Eden, Eve was tempted by satan's proposition and disobeyed God by eating from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil. Eve wanted to be like God and followed satan instead of God. This grievious sin lead to death, for God said, "but you must not eat from the tree of the knowledge of good and evil, for when you eat of it you will surely die." (Genesis 2:17)

As God explained to us in the book of James:

"but each one is tempted when, by his own evil desire, he is dragged away and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is fully grown, gives birth to death." (James 1:14-15)

In another place God wrote:

Therefore, just as sin entered the world through one man, and death through sin, and in this way death came to all men, because all sinned--for before the law was given, sin was in the world. But sin is not taken into account when there is no law. (Romans 5:12-13)

According to the word of God, all of us sinned in the same way that Adam and Eve sinned. Because of the law of the tree of knowledge of good and evil, the sin that was dormant inside of us was revealed.

But, Christ took upon himself our sins: facing jeers, brutal flogging, and persecution to the point of death. He did all of this to call the sinners (Matthew 9:13). He took upon himself our punishment. How amazing is the love of God!

Now, in this age, who has come to call the sinners?
"The spirit and the bride say, "Come!..."
(Revelation 22:17)

Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother

In the earthly family we have a father and a mother. This is how life is created.

But, do we have a heavenly family? Is there a heavenly family testified about in the Bible?

Ephesians 3:14-15 "For this reason I kneel before the Father, from whom his whole family in heaven and on earth derives its name."

The Bible testifies that there is a heavenly family and an earthly family.

Matthew 6:9 "This, then, is how you should pray: 'Our Father in heaven,...."

Galatians 4:26 "But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother."

What I had been missing my whole life was the truth about our Heavenly Mother. The Bible clearly testifies that we have a heavenly family. If we were to deny this, we would be denying the Bible--the Word of God.

Without our Jerusalem Mother our family was unfulfilled and incomplete, but now that Mother has come, we no longer call God "Lord", we have the priviledge to call God our Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother!

"Now you brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise..."
(Galatians 4:28-31)
Because of Heavenly Mother Jerusalem, we have become the children of God!
(Revelation 21:10)

We always smile and say "God bless You".

One thing that stuck out to me when I first joined the Church of God World Mission Society, was the fact that the members always smiled and said "God bless you." Upon my first impression, I knew that there was something special about this Church, but I did not truly begin to understand until I continued to come, study, and see the truth that Christ Ahnsahnghong has shared with us.

Actually, I must admit, I was one of those people who would say "God bless you" when people sneeze (check out the origin...http://www.encyclopedia.com/topic/superstition.aspx).
Now, I can share "God bless you" with my brothers and sisters and truly want them to be blessed by God.

Wisdom once said that one way that we can recognize our members is that we always smile and "always say God bless you".

In Zion, where we keep the Feasts of God, Christ Ahnsahnghong and Heavenly Mother bless us with eternal life. (Isaiah 33:20-24, Psalms 132:13)

"..For there the Lord bestows his blessing, even life forevermore." (Psalms 133:3)

This is why we always have a bright smile!

Heavenly Mother has taught us in Zion.

When I think about the love of a mother, I think about an unconditional love that can conquer anything. Mothers have been known to move cars with their bare hands to save their children and will risk their lives for the sake of their children's lives.

The same is for our Heavenly Mother Jerusalem.

Revelation 21:9-10
9One of the seven angels who had the seven bowls full of the seven last plagues came and said to me, "Come, I will show you the bride, the wife of the Lamb." 10And he carried me away in the Spirit to a mountain great and high, and showed me the Holy City, Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God.

The mountain is Zion (Hebrews 12:22-23) and the Holy City Jerusalem, she is our mother. (Galatians 4:26)

Heavenly Mother came down out of Heaven to save us--the sinners who rebelled against God--deserving death (Romans 6:23), and is teaching us how to love as She (Christ) has loved us. Now, in the Church of God, we follow the teachings of Mother.

1. It is more blessed to give love than to receive, as God always gives love.

2. When we give glory to God, the glory returns to us.

3. A beautiful mind has no hate and brings forth a perfect love.

4. As Abraham was blessed with the better when he conceded to his nephew Lot, so we are blessed even more when we concede to our brothers and sisters.

5. Being arrogant means wanting to be served.

6. Though others do not work, we should not complain but do our work faithfully. Having the mind of a master makes us work with pleasure and with ease.

7. Arrogance comes from the mind full of complaint. When we serve God always with thanksgiving, complaint and arrogance recede from us and humility dwells in our hearts.

8. When we praise our brothers and sisters, the praise returns to us.

9. As the sea receives all the dirt and purifies it, we should have a broad and beautiful mind enough to cover up even the faults of our brothers and sisters.

10. Whoever wants to be led by the Lamb, should become a lamb smaller than the Lamb.

11. Sacrifice is needed to become a greater vessel.

12. We should endure present sufferings, for the kingdom of heaven is ours.

13. Even God didn't come to be served but to serve. When we serve one another without wanting to be served, God will be pleased.

I truly want to follow the wisdom of our Heavenly Mother, and live!

Heavenly Mother protects us in Zion.

"But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother." (Galatians 4:26)

As God prophesied over and over and over again, disaster is coming, even unheard of disaster (Isaiah 24:1-6, 19-20, Zephaniah 2:3, 14-18). God allowed the prophets to see what is to come in the future. There will be an end, whether we want to believe it or not. God said so. As believers, we have to take head of the warning and prepare.

Where can we be safe when disaster comes? God told us to flee to Zion (Jeremiah 4:5). Why is it that we can be protected in Zion? It is because our Heavenly Mother Jerusalem is there! (Isaiah 33:20-24).

Apostle Paul wrote about the Heavenly Jerusalem who dwells in Zion:

Hebrews 12:22-23
"22But you have come to Mount Zion, to the heavenly Jerusalem, the city of the living God. You have come to thousands upon thousands of angels in joyful assembly, 23to the church of the firstborn, whose names are written in heaven. You have come to God, the judge of all men, to the spirits of righteous men made perfect..."

We have Heavenly Mother in our hearts.

When I was a child, I would always think about flying through the universe. I imagined jumping on the rings of Saturn or visiting Pluto--imagining how cold it would be. Even in adolescence, I would look up at the stars at night and long to understand why I was here on this earth. I wanted to know about God. I would often cry, not understanding why there was so much pain and suffering in this world--I did not understand why we have to die. It did not feel natural. I always felt like there was something more...

"He has made everything beautiful in its time. He has also set eternity in the hearts of men yet they cannot fathom what God has done from beginning to end." (Ecclesiastes 3:11)

According to the Bible, God Almighty has placed eternity in our hearts. Now, I understand why I always had the hope for Heaven, and why I could never be satisfied with anything on this earth. As Heavenly Mother continues to remind us, this earth is not our home.

Hebrews 11:13-16
13All these people were still living by faith when they died. They did not receive the things promised; they only saw them and welcomed them from a distance. And they admitted that they were aliens and strangers on earth. 14People who say such things show that they are looking for a country of their own. 15If they had been thinking of the country they had left, they would have had opportunity to return. 16Instead, they were longing for a better country—a heavenly one. Therefore God is not ashamed to be called their God, for he has prepared a city for them.

Heavenly Father and Heavenly Mother have promised us, their children, the Kingdom of Heaven: where there is no more death, sorrow, or pain. I give thanks to Them for reminding me why I should be joyful always and give thanks is all circumstances. (1 Thessalonians 5:16-18)

Praise God!

Heavenly Mother Jerusalem!

Why is it important to understand about Hagar and Sarah?

As it is written:

Galatians 4:24-25
"24...the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children."

(The old covenant) Hagar corresponds to the physical Jerusalem, in the Palestine area.
But, what about Sarah?
Sarah corresponds to what?

Galatians 4:26
"26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

(The new covenant) Sarah corresponds to the Jerusalem that is above, the Heavenly Jerusalem. Unlike Hagar, she is the free woman, therefore her children are free. God established His everlasting covenant with the child of the free woman (Gen 17:19).

Galatians 4:28.
"Now you brothers, like Isaac, are children of promise...31Therefore, brothers, we are not children of the slave woman, but of the free woman."

In the Church of God World Mission Society, we are children of the free woman, the Jerusalem that is above, our Heavenly Mother. Even though I grew up reading the Bible, no one ever taught me about the significance of the Sarah. How important she is! Only the children of the free woman receive the promise of everlasting life. Without Christ Ahnsahnghong revealing this Truth to us, we would never have been led to our Heavenly Mother, the one who has come down to this earth to save us. How amazing is the love of God! (Revelation 21:9-10, Revelation 22:17)
--one cannot even fathom.

Two Covenants: Hagar and Sarah.

Galatians 4:21-26

21Tell me, you who want to be under the law, are you not aware of what the law says? 22For it is written that Abraham had two sons, one by the slave woman and the other by the free woman. 23His son by the slave woman was born in the ordinary way; but his son by the free woman was born as the result of a promise.
24These things may be taken figuratively, for the women represent two covenants. One covenant is from Mount Sinai and bears children who are to be slaves: This is Hagar. 25Now Hagar stands for Mount Sinai in Arabia and corresponds to the present city of Jerusalem, because she is in slavery with her children. 26But the Jerusalem that is above is free, and she is our mother.

The above passage is a VERY important truth. As Christ Ahnsahnghong taught us, the law testifies about Christ and leads us to Christ. Then, through these verses we have to understand about Christ.

In the Bible, there are two covenants. The old covenant was given through Moses (Exodus 24:4-27), but God also promised that He would make a new covenant.

"The time is coming," declares the Lord, "when I will make a new covenant...."
(Jeremiah 31:31)

And, that He did...

In the same way, after the supper he took the cup, saying, "This cup is the new covenant in my blood, which is poured out for you."
(Luke 22:20)

The law leads us to Christ.

According to the Bible, if there is no law our sin is not exposed, but because God gave us the law, all of our sins become revealed. (Romans 5:13, Romans 7:7-12, Matthew 9:12-13)

Once we realize that we are sinners, then we can understand that we need to come to the one who can give us the forgiveness of sins, namely Christ.

As the Bible testifies:

Galatians 3:24
"So the law was put in charge to lead us to Christ that we might be justified by faith."

As the Bible testifies, if we keep the law, we can be led to our Savior to receive the forgiveness of sins.

But...

WHO IS OUR SAVIOR TO WHOM THE LAW HAS LED US IN THESE LAST DAYS?
Christ Ahnsahnghong revealed the mystery to us.
(Revelation 10:7)

The law of Christ Ahnsahnghong.

When I came to the Church of God World Mission Society a few years ago, I learned about how important it is to keep the commands of God. I eagerly wanted to share with my family, friends and cohorts what I had learned, but many of the responses that I received were unexpected.

I heard the following:

"We do not need to keep God's commands, I believe in God...that's enough. Faith...Faith...Faith."
or
"The law is a curse, so why should I keep the law?"
or
"Jesus Christ abolished the law."
(really? Matthew 5:17)

What I never knew before is that there are two laws existing in the Bible: the law of Moses and the law of Christ.

1 Corithinans 9:21
21To those not having the law I became like one not having the law (though I am not free from God's law but am under Christ's law)

Galatians 6:2
2Carry each other's burdens, and in this way you will fulfill the law of Christ.

There is a law of Moses that we find in the Old Testament (2 Kings 23:25, John 1:17), but as those who believe the Bible, we cannot neglect that there is also a law of Christ.

When Jesus Christ came the law of Moses ended and the law of Christ began.

Christ Ahnsahnghong also taught us about the purpose of the law.
As believers, why do we need to keep the law?

Christ Ahnsahnghong reminded us how to receive the forgiveness of sins.

The night of the Passover, Jesus Christ gave his disciples a precious promise.

Matthew 26:26
26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gavie it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." 27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."

As we see in the above scripture, if we keep the Passover we can have the forgiveness of sins. This is Christ's promise to us (Eph 1:7, Matt 26:28). But, what if we do not keep it? (John 6:53)

AS SINNERS, WE NEED THE PASSOVER!
Out of all of the churches in the world, the Church of God World Mission Society keeps the New Covenant Passover, following the example of Jesus Christ and the disciples. This is because Christ Ahnsahnghong brought back the Passover that was abolished in 325AD. Without Christ Ahnsahnghong we would not know about this precious truth.
  • In the age of Jehovah, He gave the Passover to save his people.
  • In the age of Jesus Christ, He gave the Passover to his disciples.
  • In this age, the age of the Holy Spirit, Christ Ahnsahnhong is the one who reminded us that we must keep the Passover to receive the forgiveness of sins. (John 14:26)
