The night of the Passover, Jesus Christ gave his disciples a precious promise.
Matthew 26:26
26While they were eating, Jesus took bread, gave thanks and broke it, and gavie it to his disciples, saying, "Take and eat; this is my body." 27 Then he took the cup, gave thanks and offered it to them, saying, "Drink from it, all of you. 28 This is my blood of the covenant, which is poured out for many for the forgiveness of sins."
As we see in the above scripture, if we keep the Passover we can have the forgiveness of sins. This is Christ's promise to us (Eph 1:7, Matt 26:28). But, what if we do not keep it? (John 6:53)
- In the age of Jehovah, He gave the Passover to save his people.
- In the age of Jesus Christ, He gave the Passover to his disciples.
- In this age, the age of the Holy Spirit, Christ Ahnsahnhong is the one who reminded us that we must keep the Passover to receive the forgiveness of sins. (John 14:26)
