"Even the stork in the sky
knows her APPOINTED SEASONS,
and the dove, the swift and the thrush
observe the time of their migration.
But my people do no know
the REQUIREMENTS of the Lord." (Jeremiah 8:7)
The animals know their appointed times, but what about God's people? As God spoke through the prophet Jeremiah, he revealed to us that His people do NOT KNOW THE REQUIREMENTS OF GOD. As the people of God, what are our appointed seasons--the requirements of God?
- The Sabbath (the 7th day, weekly Feast)
- The Passover
- Unleavened Bread
- First Fruits
- Feast of Weeks
- Feast of Trumpets
- Day of Atonement
- Feast of Tabernacles
The Bible testifies that the Way and the Requirements of God, are God's Appointed Feasts. They are sacred assemblies to be kept by the people of God.
If we are not keeping the Feasts of God, but keep what Constantine established, or whatever days we want to keep, proclaiming them as our own sacred assemblies, is that following the Way of God? Jesus testified about such people...
Matthew 15:8-9
"These people honor me with their lips, but their hearts are far from me.
They worship me in vain; their teachings are but rules taught by men."
